“Andecian” micro-scale art ecosystem
アンデシャンは、感覚過敏を持つ画家、宮内博史が創設した最小規模のアート生態系プロジェクトです。
長年の研究の末、2018年に開設した実験ギャラリーを経て、現在は千葉県銚子市にて「Gallery Andecian」と「Art space ロクの家」を運営しています。
物件は、「街の中に、有機的で立体的な建物という絵を描く」という感覚のもと、地域の空き家をDIYで改修して作られました。
あらかじめ設計図を描くのではなく、非効率であってもその場の手触りを頼りに、素材との試行錯誤を重ねながら改修されています。
2つの物件は徒歩15分圏内に位置し、それぞれの立地や建物の個性の違いを活かした展覧会を開催しています。
単なる展示スペースではなく、人の心や街の風通しをよくする場であれたらと願い、背伸びしすぎない持続可能なペースで活動を続けています。
思考に先立つ「呼吸」を基点に場づくりを進め、今後は新潟県佐渡市にも新たな拠点を展開予定です。
Andecian is a micro-scale art ecosystem founded by Hirofumi Miyauchi, a painter with sensory hypersensitivity.
Following years of research and the opening of an experimental gallery in 2018, he now operates “Gallery Andecian” and “Art space 6 house” in Choshi City, Chiba Prefecture. The properties were created through DIY renovations of local vacant houses, based on the sense of “painting organic, three-dimensional architectural pictures within the city.” Rather than drawing blueprints in advance, the renovations are carried out through trial and error with materials, relying on the touch of the site, even if it is inefficient.
The two properties are located within a 15-minute walk of each other, hosting exhibitions that utilize the unique character of each location and building. Wishing to be more than just exhibition spaces, but places that ventilate both people’s hearts and the town, the project continues at a sustainable pace without overreaching. In an art historical context, Andecian reexamines art based on the “breath” that precedes thought. In the future, a new base is planned for development in Sado City, Niigata Prefecture.

芸術を愛した亡きオーナーのご遺言により、「貸さない、売らない」とされている場所を特別にお借りしています。
手の気配と静かに向き合うための、街の中心の聖域でありたいと願っています。

We have specially borrowed this space, which is designated “not for rent or sale” according to the will of the late landlord who loved art.
We aspire for it to be a sanctuary in the heart of the city, a place to quietly engage with the traces of human touch.

2020年にオープンしたアートスペース「ロクの家」は、利根川沿いの奥まった立地にあります。
築60年程の元旅館の物件であり、ギャラリースペースと40m²のアトリエ、住居空間を備えているため、レジデンスの受け入れも可能です。
コロナ禍でも、陰の気配を活かした「夜のギャラリー」など活発に活動していましたが、宮内の作品制作に支障が出たためペースを抑えて活動しています。
“Art space 6 house (Roku no Ie),” opened in 2020, is tucked away along the Tone River.
Housed in a former inn built about 60 years ago, it features a gallery space, a 40m² studio, and living quarters, making it suitable for artist residencies.
Even during the pandemic, it remained active with initiatives like the “Night Gallery,” which utilized the space’s atmospheric ambiance.
However, due to disruptions to Miyauchi’s artistic practice, activities have since slowed.
